As the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago prepares to host the forthcoming Twelfth Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas (CDMA XII) in the last quarter of 2016, the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies has organized a Hemispheric Forum to discuss the proposed thematic axes for the CDMA XII:

  1. The Changing International Defense and Security Environment: The Evolving Role of the Military
  2. Hemispheric Security and Defense Cooperation Policy: A Case/ Framework for Strengthened Humanitarian Emergency Assistance
