Background:

Major General Carlos Rojas, Chief of Staff of the Colombian Strategic Transition Command (COET) and Commander of the Joint Monitoring and Verification Command of Colombia, provides a candid first-hand update on military and police support to the implementation of the peace process. After participating in the peace agreement process in Havana, MG Rojas is now responsible for the disarmament and demobilization of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). A question and answer session will follow MG Rojas’ presentation.

This event will take place in Spanish with simultaneous English interpretation.
