Hemispheric Forums

HFpanel

In 2011, the Perry Center instituted the Hemispheric Forum, an educational and outreach initiative designed to take advantage of the abundance of security and defense subject-matter experts and the community of interest in the Washington, D.C., area. The Forum follows a standard panel discussion format centered on a revolving slate of timely and important topics, with panelists representing the top of the field from government, think tanks, and academia. Each Forum event is open to the public and live-streamed online so that it can reach the widest possible audience. Most past Hemispheric Forum recordings are available at our Video Library. So far, the Hemispheric Forum has been a standout success in the Perry Center’s repertoire of educational tools, and the transcripts and papers produced by both panelists and Forum attendees have been published both within the Perry Center and in other prestigious outlets.

Archived copies of past Hemispheric Forums can be found in our video library
